CardPay payment process
In our Guide through the CardPay Payment Gateway service, we will show you how easily your customer will be able to pay for goods or services purchased using his/her payment card.

Purchase order completion in e-shop
Customer completes the purchase order in e-shop and chooses the payment option – Card payment.
Customer is redirected to the secure Tatra banka Cardpay Payment Gateway.

CardPay Payment Gateway
Customer completes the following card data on Cardpay Payment Gateway:
- Payment card number
- Card expiration date
- Security CVV code
- Concerning the customer's bank requirement, customer will be redirected to the 3D Secure Gateway to submit the client's authentication
TIP Hint for you The 3-D Secure service provides a higher form of internet payment security. When using a payment card supporting 3-D Secure, the card holder is invited to enter the password received in a text message from his/her bank.
The 3-D Secure technology is supported by the VISA and MasterCard companies.

Payment result information
The transaction is being processed online and the Cardpay Payment Gateway notifies the customer about the payment result.

Redirecting back to e-shop
After payment completion, customer is redirected back to e-shop and you will immediately receive a notification about the payment result. Based on payment result you can ship the goods to customer.
